Policies and T&C's

Guiding Principles for a Safe, Supportive Environment.

Mi Nursery is dedicated to the support, development and promotion of high-quality care and education for the benefit of our children, families and community. We are committed to safeguarding children and promoting their welfare through building a safer organisational culture. All staff, students and volunteers have a responsibility for safeguarding children, being vigilant and identifying and reporting any safeguarding concerns, in line with this and supporting policies.

At Mi Nursery, we are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of all children. While safeguarding covers all aspects of keeping children safe, child protection refers specifically to the actions taken to protect individual children who are suffering or are likely to suffer significant harm. We recognise our moral and statutory duty to protect every child in our care from abuse, neglect, exploitation, or harm. All staff, volunteers, and students share this responsibility, and are trained to respond promptly, professionally, and sensitively to any concerns.

At Mi Nursery, we promote the good health of children attending nursery and take necessary steps to prevent the spread of infection (see Sickness and illness and Infection control policies). If a child requires medicine, we will obtain information about the child’s needs for this and will ensure this information is kept up to date.

Mi Nurseries is committed to providing high-quality childcare and education, ensuring that any concerns or complaints are handled quickly, fairly, and transparently in the best interests of the child and family. We aim to respond positively to any concerns raised and resolve them as swiftly as possible.

At Mi Nurseries, we value open communication and strong partnerships with families. We believe that recognising and celebrating positive feedback contributes to a motivated, reflective, and high-performing team. Our purpose is to encourage and record positive feedback, celebrate excellent practice, and maintain strong relationships with families

At Mi Nursery, we are committed to working in partnership with parents and carers to provide a high-quality, transparent, and trustworthy childcare service. These parent terms and conditions outline the expectations, responsibilities, and commitments of both the Nursery and families, ensuring clarity and mutual respect in all aspects of our relationship.
